Another critical component of Tabitha's work is the Cottage Industry.
Through this program, Tabitha trains and employs embroiderers, seamstresses, weavers, silversmiths and others. In the current fiscal year, more than 620 families are involved in Tabitha's cottage industry work.

Their products are sold locally in Cambodia and overseas through Tabitha's volunteer networks.
Cottage industry is very effective on two fronts:

First, its profits support Tabitha's overall administration, and enhance financial sustainability for the long-term. |

Second, cottage industry employs a large number of people who were previously without work. In this way, the cottage industry program is a vital support system not only for its own objectives of helping the poorest Cambodians achieve work, but also for enabling Tabitha's broader outreach throughout the country. |
